What's Happening?

Tails on the Town

Join us for our first ever Tails on the Town Bar(K)rawl and Scavenger Hunt on and around W. 6th St.! There will be prizes, food, games and drink specials!

So get your teams together and sign up for an afternoon of fun!! Tickets include (1) drink ticket and a Limited Edition (K)rawl shirt!!


When checking out, click on who you want. A donation of $250. 00 will be added to your checkout total. The proceeds benefit the Dick Goddard Best Friends Medical Relief Fund for our dogs.

Our 4th annual PawJect Runway is closer than you think! Join us on Saturday, August  19th from 11am to 3pm at Legacy Village and find out if your dog has what it takes!  Enter your pooch in our bikini contest and runway show and see if he or she will grace the pages of our 2018 CCAS calendar.  (Proceeds from the calendar go to our Best Friends Medical Relief Fund).  Tickets are $25 and includes 1 dog/1 handler. Interested in becoming a vendor? Vendor space is free and limited to first come, first serve.  Wares sold must be approved by CCAS. Click here to register.

Adopt A Spot Become a Cage Sponsor!

Cage Sponsorship plaques make a great gift for friends and family, in memoriam of a furry friend or show of support from local businesses. Plaques can be purchased in two sizes, 7 x 9 & 9 x 12. Proceeds go into our Best Friend's Medical Relief Fund which serves to medically treat the sick and injured strays that come to our shelter. Order one both online or mail in your registration.

Heights Art Pet Project

Pet Project is a custom portraiture program from non-profit arts organization Heights Arts, in which pet owners and adopters can provide a photograph of their pet and choose a participating artist to create an original, personal portrait of their furry family member.

Peanut is a 3 1/2 year old Pit Bull Terrier male. This guy is a laid back dog that would love a quiet home to settle into. He knows his sit command and would love to show you for himself.
