WebSide Creative Group
This site was designed and developed by the WebSide Creative Group – a collective of Cuyahoga Community College students – in the Fall 2008 Web Publishing II class at the West campus.
Each semester, the Web Publishing II class chooses a non-profit organization, and designs, updates or redesigns their website. As pet lovers and budding web designers/developers, the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter web redesign project provided a great opportunity to expand our skills while supporting a cause we all believe in. Below are brief introductions to the team…and their pets.
For more information about this project, or Tri-C’s web design & interactive media program, please contact Angela Berlingeri at this address: Angela.Berlingeri@Tri-C.edu, or visit the college website at www.tri-c.edu.
Who could resist Nemo’s face?
Sarah Morgenstein
Having recently been through the dog adoption process, Sarah became the driving force behind cuyahogadogs.com. Not only did she propose the project, but most of the site’s innovative technical features and visual design are hers as well. Sarah has also been the one to see the project through to launch.
Sarah holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and is currently working towards her Associates Degree in Visual Communication at Tri-C. Visit Sarah’s site at sarahmorgenstein.com
My what big ears you have, Leo!
Michelle Mihalek
Michelle was one of two lead designers on the site. Another dog lover, Michelle brought a fine sense of color and touch of whimsy to the design.
Michelle will be graduating soon with two Associate’s degrees; one in Interactive Media and the other in Photography.
Good dog!
Clarence Williamsen
Clarence IT skills helped to make the back end of this project function. He can always be counted on to find a way to make it work.
