Best Friends Medical Relief Fund

Our Best Friends’ Medical Relief Fund was started in 2005 with a $5,000 donation from the Best Friends’ Animal Society in Utah and support from our good friend, Dick Goddard of Fox8 News. The fund was set up to provide veterinary care for those dogs and puppies that arrive at our shelter sick or injured so that they too may have a second chance at a happy life. Since its inception, the fund has provided a new “leash on life” for countless dogs with heartworms, broken bones, and traumatic wounds, some of whom are shown below. When you look into their eyes, you’ll see living proof of why this fund is so important.

We need your help!

Each year we hold multiple fundraisers to benefit the fund. Tax-deductible donations to the fund are always greatly appreciated. Please call the shelter at 216-525-7877 if you’d like to help.
