Our Millie

We brought our Millie home from CCAS on July 28, 2010. She is very sweet, affectionate, smart, and demonstrative. Millie makes our hearts smile! She really knows how to play, and really knows how to relax! Here she is jumping into the pool to retrieve a tennis ball at the Annual Dog Splash at the Avon Lake Municipal pool, and in one of her favorite poses at home. Thank you CCAS for taking care of our girl!

Lexi and Scotch settling in nicely!!

Formerly know as Tippie and Stosh, Lexi and Scotchy are living it up in the suburbs! “We have been taken down many a stuffed toy and the food keeps flowing”, stated Scotch, as he tipped the scales over 20 pounds in his recent doctor visit… “It’s been cool having a little brother to scrap with and a big yard to sprint around!” added Lexi, who’s age in coming into question as it appears she has grown to full adult size in the past couple months. The before and after pics of the kids are funny, as they both know where the food bowl is located. However, as the weather has gotten better they have been doing wind sprints and playing tag in their big back yard….. Oops, time for another bath you little diggers!

Yes the incredible growing dogs are enjoying the spoiled life and are feeling happy and loved. Wishing we could adopt more dogs, but a full house of 3 dogs is enough… The kids wanted to say “hi”, but have no intention on returning unless we need to add to our family! Thanks to the staff and the caring people that work at the Shelter..
