Emergency Assistance
Date posted: December 3
Our Deputies are trained to handle each dog in the most humane way possible. Dogs receive prompt medical emergency treatment. Sick, injured, or aggressive stray dogs are housed separately from the rest of the Kennel population. These animals are continuously monitored by an experienced medical team.

Spay/Neuter
Date posted: December 3
Cuyahoga County requires that all adopted dogs be spayed or neutered. A special surgical cage area ensures each animal is comfortable and quiet while recuperating from this procedure.
Every year millions of healthy, loving animals are euthanized for lack of homes. An altered pet is healthier, happier, and will live much longer. There is no good excuse for not altering your pet.
Low cost spay/neuter is available through:
- Spay & Neuter Clinic, 4225 Fulton Road, Cleveland OH, 216-398-1081
- Friends of Animals, 216-587-0476
- Citizens for Low Cost Spay & Neuter, 216-781-0080
